Permission Granted at Wentworth Business Park, Barnsley - September 2009

Planning permission has recently been granted for the erection of a food sales outlet with associated storage, packaging rooms, servicing and car parking on land at Wentworth Business Park, Tankersley, Barnsley.

The application follows the sustained growth of the client's business, and their requirement for larger premises and associated parking. The gross floor space of the consented scheme is 3840.5m2, providing 1340.14m2 of food retail space and 2500.36m2 of offices, processing and packaging rooms. The scheme will provide 134 parking spaces with an additional 13 disabled person's parking spaces for visitors and staff.

The relocation of the business to Wentworth Business Park will contribute substantially to economic development in the local area.
