Planning Appeal for office development in Rotherham - September 2009

DLPT transportation Ltd have  been instructed to prepare evidence and attend a Public Inquiry into the refusal of an office development scheme in Hellaby near Rotherham.  The site is located adjacent to the A631, and near to junction 1 of the M18 Motorway. An extensive Transport Assessment and a Travel Plan document were submitted with the application and in-principle agreements reached with the local Highway Authority and the Highways Agency.  The Local Planning Authority are expected to defend the highway reasons for refusal which will principally be a matter of the potential for on-street parking in the vicinity of the development.
