DLP Dynamos tackle 500 miles for Charity Cycle Challenge

Two teams from the DLP Consulting Group will again, be taking part in the Extra Mile challenge and this year is tackling the Lake Geneva Challenge at the end of September.

The Challenge, again organised by the Bedford Park Rotary Club, features a gruelling 500 mile team cycle relay along a challenging course with many steep climbs and hair-pin descents over 3 days. Starting off in Nancy, France, the teams will pedal their way over the French/German borders and finish by Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Taking part this year are members from across the Group including Tim Hayman, Jim Lomas, Andy Taylor, Caroline Richardson, Susie Boyce, Chris Holmes, Andrew Ryley and Adrian Hunter. They are all training hard in preparation for this test of physical and mental endurance.

All funds raised by sponsorship go directly to charity. Three quarters goes to our chosen charities, the Alzheimer’s Society and the British Heart Foundation; the remaining quarter goes to the Extra Mile Charities (The Alzheimer’s Society, the Milton Keynes Community Foundation and The Elisabeth Curtis Riding Centre for the Disabled). Our target this year is a minimum of £2,800 towards these very good causes.

We hope you will feel able to support us and these worthwhile causes. You can give directly at our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/DLP-Group , which also adds gift aid to your donation. All donations received are greatly appreciated.
