Due to the increasing workload in the London office we are looking for an MRTPI qualified Town Planner with 5-10 years’ experience to join our friendly and busy team based in Clerkenwell. The London office works throughout London and the South East on a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients.
As an Associate Planner you will be given the opportunity to lead on projects and engage in a range of development plan, policy and development management work. This will include, but is not limited to, undertaking planning appraisals, co-ordinating planning applications, preparing local plan representations, site promotion and appeals, EiP and public inquiry work.
You will work under the supervision of senior staff but will also be given the opportunity to lead on projects, managing external sub-consultants and junior members of staff. You will also be offered a high degree of client interface and the opportunity to take part in marketing and business development activities.
Candidates should be self-motivated, willing to build up their own client base and make a real contribution to the growth of the company. Experience of managing projects and client development is important.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the London office of DLP Planning for a Senior Planner. We are looking for an MRTPI qualified Town Planner, or someone eligible to actively work towards accreditation in the next few months. Existing experience of development management led work and a strong understanding of local and national planning policy is essential. The London office is based in Clerkenwell and works throughout London and the South East on a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients.

The role will require an active involvement in a number of projects and the successful candidate will be a positive, proactive individual with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business. It is important that the candidate has good written and verbal English, is competent in report and letter writing, has a good understanding of the English planning system and is IT literate.
