New Road, Sandy

DLP Planning Ltd together with Matrix Transport and Infrastructure Consultants Ltd and be1 Architects have been instructed by the owners of New Road, Sandy, Bedfordshire to prepare and submit a planning application for the development of the site for residential purposes.

The site, which extends to 0.48 hectares and can potentially accommodate up to 50 dwellings, lies within the urban area and close to the mainline railway station, and adjoins a recently built food supermarket.

The existing site is in employment use, however, these uses are now out of context with the surroundings and the use of the site for residential development would accord with planning policy and be a sustainable development.
