Senior or Principal Transport Planner – SDD Team
The Sustainable Development and Delivery (SDD) Team provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development proposals all around the UK.
In order to support growth – not just in the volume of our workload but also critically in the breadth of the services that we offer – we are looking to recruit within our Sheffield, Bristol or Nottingham offices.
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Transport Planner with a minimum of five years of experience in development planning. With a background either in private practice or in local Government, you will have a good understanding of the development planning process in the UK. You will have experience in completing Transport Assessments, Site Access Appraisals and Travel Plans with minimal supervision, and experience in highway / junction design. A confident user of ARCADY / PICADY / LinSig, TRICS, Tempro and AutoCAD is desirable.
We are a dynamic team within the wider Planning team and are looking for someone with team spirit, a ‘can-do’ attitude and enthusiasm, as well as the technical skills necessary to derive solutions to a range of problems. We are seeking an individual who can lead more junior staff, who is comfortable with Clients and other professionals and who has a desire to take a significant role in developing our business.
