Planning Permission for a new Dwelling in a Conservation Area

DLP Planning Ltd have successfully secured full planning permission for a large detached family dwelling in Basingstoke, within the Worting Conservation Area.

The application, which followed constructive engagement with LPA Planning Officers through their formal pre-application process, encountered initial resistance from the Council’s Conservation Officer.

However, following a minor amendment to the proposal and following further detailed justification presented by DLP, this objection was overcome and the Council confirmed that the dwelling was appropriate and acceptable for the conservation area setting.

Following the granting of planning permission, our client is now able to build their own bespoke designed family home.
